The Mako Server is a compact application server and web server that makes it easy for software developers to rapidly design and launch server-side web applications. The Mako Server provides a fast, barebone web application server environment. Developers use the Lua scripting language to create the business logic of their web applications. Together, the web server and business logic scripts deliver easy server and web application deployment.
The Mako Server removes all of the complexity from deploying a web application. In a traditional deployment, many components need to be installed before a web application becomes operational. With the Mako Server, it's as easy to install a new web application as it is to install a Windows application. All of the system components are included in a single Mako Server installation file.
