All Fours is a 4-player card game originated in England in the 17th century. It was then brought to North America and became the national game of Trinidad. A deck of standard playing cards will be used, and the two players sitting opposite to each other will become teammates such that 2 partnerships are formed. At the beginning of each hand, the dealer will first deal 6 cards to each player, and then reveal the topmost card from the remainder. The suit of the revealed card may become the trump used in this hand, but the player on the right of the dealer has the right to choose whether to accept that suit as the trump or not. If he does not accept it, the dealer can choose to keep that suit as the trump while giving 1 point to the opponents, or to select another trump.
