This photo shows a historic part of England's, Camber, which was known as the haunt of smugglers. In 1826 a ferocious battle took place between the customs and excise men and the Adlington's, a gang of smugglers. During World War II the town of Lydd was evacuated in order to allow it to be used as a testing ground for the weapons of war. During these days families are the lucky people that get to enjoy this part of the East Sussex coast.
